X Games

The X Games, founded by ESPN television executive Ron Semiao, were first held in June 1995 in Newport, Rhode Island. They originally featured skateboarding and BMX biking events. Considered the Olympics of action sports, the X Games include both summer and winter competitions, each held annually in the United States.
